Recycling For Refunds: Terms & Conditions

MagnaFlow is offering a partial refund to customers that purchase a new aftermarket MagnaFlow catalytic converter and return their old/used original equipment catalytic converter to MagnaFlow for recycling.

Program: 

Purchase a new MagnaFlow catalytic converter; Return your old Original Equipment catalytic converter to MagnaFlow; Receive a MagnaFlow VISA® Prepaid Card with cash value based on the type and condition of the used product returned, in the sole discretion of MagnaFlow staff (Program applies to sales that originate in the United States only). 

Eligibility: 

Purchase  a new MagnaFlow catalytic converter from our website or a participating retailer; The returned catalytic converter must be an OE (original equipment) part, that is it must be the part that came with your car new or an OE replacement part; The returned catalytic converter ceramic core must be housed in the converter body and fully intact to receive the maximum refund; All returned parts will be subject to inspection and all refunds based on the discretion of MagnaFlow staff/inspector final judgment; The amount of your refund may vary based on the inspection and structural integrity of the returned part (MagnaFlow is not responsible for damage to your returned part occurring during transport – if it arrives damaged we have no responsibility for the damage to the part and will price your refund according to the condition of the part on arrival at the MagnaFlow facility). (Purchases from outside the US are not eligible for refund under this program).

If the catalytic converter sent by you is ineligible for refund, you will be notified and offered the opportunity to pick-up the part or have the part returned to you, if you pay the cost of return shipping.  Parts will be stored for up to 30 days, after which time MagnaFlow will dispose of unclaimed parts at its discretion.   DISCLAIMER – MagnaFlow makes no representation that the part will be returned in the same conditions as received. Inspection of your old/used part may require cutting the part open and removing the inlet and outlet tubing and will permanently alter or destroy the part.. 

Refund Amount: The amount you are eligible for may vary based on several criteria in the sole discretion of MagnaFlow as follows: The type of OE part being recycled; The condition of the OE part being returned upon arrival at the MagnaFlow facility; Cost of shipping in excess of the provided return shipping label, which, covers up to the same dimensions and weight as the purchased MagnaFlow product – excess cost of shipping, if any, may result in an adjusted refund amount;

Timing: 

Your Recycling Refund will be provided in the form of a MagnaFlow VISA® Prepaid Card that will be sent to you via first class mail within 4 to 6 weeks.

With the exception of the limited and express warranties set forth in the Product Warranty Page and as provided herein, the “Recycling for Refunds” program is provided on an “as is” basis without warranty or guarantee of any kind or nature. MagnaFlow specifically disclaims any warranty related to liability for any bodily harm caused to you or any third party related to the “Recycling for Refunds” program, including, but not limited to your removal and replacement of the OE part (old catalytic converter) and your preparing the used OE part for shipment under the terms of this program, including, sawing/cutting or other modification to the used part to facilitate its return as contemplated herein.
