Tech Center Recap: Performance Exhausts for High-Tech Trucks & V8 Jeeps

At MagnaFlow, our mission is simple: to provide the highest quality exhaust experience from start to finish. In keeping with this goal, we continue to develop exhausts for more technologically advanced vehicles, such as hybrids. The hybrid we’re currently working on is the 3.5L V6 PowerBoost hybrid engine option in the current Ford F-150.

With 430 horsepower and 570 lb.-ft. of torque, the relatively new configuration offers plenty of capability. As such, our focus has been on creating a performance exhaust system that produces the best engine note possible, providing customers with a truck that sounds as powerful as it is. No matter how advanced a vehicle may be, we believe there’s always room for improvement over stock and love showing our customers what we can do with their cutting-edge vehicles.

Conversely, the new 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 is an altogether more old-school concept, and we adore it for what it is. For generations people have been swapping V8s into their Wrangler rigs, and now Jeep has decided to cut out the middleman and make up for lost time by offering a 6.4L HEMI V8 with 470 horsepower and lb.-ft. of torque as an option for those who want the ultimate Jeep.

Jeep 392 at MagnaFlow Tech Center

We’re currently developing two very different exhaust systems for the new 392 Jeep. One will become part of our Rock Crawler Series, with a focus on meeting the needs of customers who want a minimalist approach with maximum performance and ground clearance. With its no-tip exit and clever, undercarriage hugging design, this exhaust kit will cater to the true off-road enthusiast who’s looking to build the most performant Jeep they possibly can.

In addition to a system catering to rock crawling enthusiasts, we’re also developing another Rubicon 392 exhaust system as part of our Street Series, with the goal of improving on both the exhaust tone and performance of the new Jeep in a package that will look as good as it sounds. To that end, we’re toying with the possibility of making this new performance exhaust kit part of our Black Series, with a stylish set of black powder-coated tips.
