Rock Krawler Suspension Hits the Sand for Jeep Beach 2021

It’s almost time for Jeep Beach 2021! Beginning on April 19th, Jeep Beach is an event that draws Jeep fans from across the world to Daytona Beach, Florida, for a week of fun on the sand and in the sun. This year, our friends at Rock Krawler Suspension are heading down to the beach with several highly modified builds, each outfitted with custom MagnaFlow exhaust systems.

What is Jeep Beach?

Jeep Beach has been an ever-growing event since its start in 2012 and has become the place to be if you want to check out the latest and greatest products the industry has to offer from the hundreds of vendors present. While Jeep Beach is centered around Daytona International Speedway, the festivities continue throughout the week in Daytona Beach, including the vehicle-friendly strand itself.

In recent years, the bonanza has grown to include over 200,000 visitors and 20,000 Jeeps! The event is also a hugely successful fundraiser for charities across central Florida, such as The Boys & Girls Clubs of Volusia & Flagler Counties, The NASCAR Foundation, The Childhood Cancer Foundation, and The Petty Family Foundation/Victory Junction to name a few.

This special week attracts the coolest Jeeps around, which is why Rock Krawler is making their annual trek from Latham, New York, to show off three of their top-notch rigs, each featuring their latest products, as well as those of their partners (such as MagnaFlow). The team at Rock Krawler Suspension went all-out with these builds and bestowed them with monikers that are utterly topical: Corona, Virus and Pandemic.

Corona

When people talk about bringing Coronas to the beach, they likely aren’t talking about anything nearly as awesome as this tricked-out 2019 Jeep JLL. The designation “JLL” refers to the stretched conversion the vehicle has undergone courtesy of Jeep Works. In addition to the stretched wheelbase, the rig features Dynatrac XD 60 Axles front and rear, as well as a Rock Krawler 4.5” Rockzilla Coil Over Suspension System. Method beadlock wheels wrapped in 40” Nitto tires, Mob Armor 4x4 bumpers, Adams driveline and a PSC hydraulic power steering further enhance this workhorse’s off-roading chops, while Factor 55 recovery gear, an sPOD electronic control system and a Warn winch provide the build with the safety and security it needs to traverse any terrain without getting hopelessly stuck.

The powertrain has been overhauled as well thanks to a Bruiser LS engine swap, which gives this machine the power to conquer most obstacles with ease. However, such a mighty engine upgrade would be incomplete without an exhaust system overhaul, which is why the team at Rock Krawler designed a one-off exhaust set up using MagnaFlow Custom Builder Parts. As a result, that LS V8 now absolutely roars!

Virus

Like it’s brother Corona, this luminous blue 2020 Gladiator, known as Virus, has had quite the overhaul to turn it into the trail-conquering rig it is today. For this build, the team decided to go with a Rock Krawler 4.5” Adventure X Long Arm Coil Over Suspension system and KMC beadlock wheels with 42” Nitto tires. Further protection is provided by a TOTL Innovations hood, Nemesis fenders, as well as Artec bumpers and inner fenders. The axles, safety, lighting, steering and electrical systems all feature a similar setup to Corona.

When it came to Virus’ powertrain, the team opted for an America’s Most Wanted SRT8 Hemi swap. The legendary Hemi is a perfect fit for the Jeep, and it sounds truly special thanks to the MagnaFlow performance exhaust system its connected to. Like Corona, Virus’ exhaust system features a custom setup comprised of MagnaFlow Custom Builder Parts.

Pandemic

Compared to the other two, this 2021 JLU Ultra 4 Race Rig Jeep, known as Pandemic, is a purpose-built off-road racer. In addition to featuring the same safety, electrical and recovery equipment as Corona and Virus, this rig utilizes a Rock Krawler 4.5” Rockzilla Long Arm Suspension System sitting on Vision Race Wheels and wrapped in 35” Nitto tires.

Like Virus, Pandemic benefits from an America’s Most Wanted SRT8 Hemi swap paired with a complete custom exhaust system consisting of MagnaFlow Custom Builder Parts. In addition to the upgraded powertrain, this race truck also features sturdy PRP seats, Fox Racing Shocks, Artec inner fender liners and Rugged Radios communication gear. From Moab to Daytona, this rig is ready to get where it’s going as fast as it can, regardless of what challenges stand in its way.

Looking Forward to Jeep Beach 2021

Our team at MagnaFlow is excited to see Rock Krawler’s rigs make their appearance at Daytona Beach this year! The past year or so has been crazy for the world, but it will be good to see a sense of normalcy return at Jeep Beach 2021. We love working with Rock Krawler Suspension on all their wild builds and respect that they acknowledge the importance of a top-notch exhaust system as much as we do.

Rock Krawler has several awesome projects coming down the pike, including rigs based on the all-new Ford Bronco. When it comes time to create a performance exhaust system for their next builds, they know exactly who to call.

Interested in building your own performance exhaust system like those featured on Corona, Virus and Pandemic? MagnaFlow Custom Builder Parts are available for every component you’ll need.
