MAGNAFLOW UNCORKS THE BABY BENZ

MagnaFlow announces its very first Mercedes-Benz application, a full stainless Touring Series cat-back for the CLA250.

Oceanside, Calif. (September, 2016) – MagnaFlow has earned quite the reputation among fans of modern European cars for making high quality exhaust systems. BMW and Audi drivers have been enjoying the benefits of a MagnaFlow stainless exhaust system for years now, but MagnaFlow has never offered a direct fit system for Mercedes-Benz, until now. It’s with great pleasure that MagnaFlow announces the release of their very first direct fit stainless exhaust system for the Mercedes-Benz CLA250.

The CLA250 took the world by storm when it was announced by Mercedes several years ago. The idea of a Benz that started at less than $30k was nearly unbelievable and yet people went out and bought them like there was no tomorrow. The CLA250 differs from other Mercedes platforms in that it features a FWD drivetrain layout paired with Mercedes’ excellent 2.0 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder. This engine has the capability of sounding great but in typical Mercedes fashion, it’s fairly subdued sounding in stock form. MagnaFlow is ready to let that turbo four-pot breathe free and sound more like its raucous AMG-built cousin.

The MagnaFlow Touring Series stainless steel cat-back exhaust system has been designed to increase exhaust flow by reducing restrictions and improve upon the somewhat tame exhaust note that the car had from the factory. The benefit of the Touring Series is that while the exhaust sound will be louder and more aggressive, it’s not so loud that it will make the car unpleasant to live with. It’s an ideal system for a daily driver and will not drone on the freeway. The system is composed of 2.5” stainless tubing, a single 5” x 8” x 18” stainless muffler and quad stainless 3” exhaust tips.

This system, like all MagnaFlow products, is fully 50 state emissions compliant. Additionally, all MagnaFlow exhaust systems come with a Lifetime Warranty, and each kit includes all the necessary hardware and components for a complete, bolt-on installation.
