Team MagnaFlow’s own Joey Logano scored an impressive third round playoff victory at the South Point 400 in Las Vegas on Sunday, October 20th, cementing himself a spot in the championship race.
Logano led the last six laps on the 1.5-mile Vegas track and managed to win by a narrow 0.662 seconds in the closing moments.
Logano, who was eliminated from the playoffs last weekend at the Roval, only to be reinstated following a disqualification, has a chance to become the first driver to win three NASCAR Cup championships under NASCAR’s new knockout format.
