Featured Build: Throtl's Nissan Z Liberty Walk
The Throtl team bought a 2023 Nissan Z with the ultimate goal of making the car look aggressive and unique being the first Z with a Liberty Walk body kit in the USA. In just 3 weeks, they transformed this ride into a beast.
First up on the modification list was of course, a brand new exhaust. The team at Throtl ripped off the exhaust system that already existed on this 2023 Nissan Z and opted to replace it with the MagnaFlow xMOD 2023 - 2024 Nissan Z Series Exhaust System.
The MagnaFlow modular xMOD exhaust system definitely brought this build to life, with the x-pipe in the center the Throtl team chose the 3-inch diameter straight-through pipe to give it the loud and powerful sound it deserves. With this configurable exhaust system, they can easily swap the straight-pipe for a couple of No Drone Mufflers when they want a change of sound.
Next up, is the unboxing and install of the Liberty Walk body kit for the Nissan Z which includes a front bumper, front fenders, rear fenders, side skirts, rear diffuser, a wing and a new hood.
Then of course, the suspension could not be left stock. They removed the current suspension kit and installed new air suspension and paired with all new Wilwood Brakes.
The grand reveal at SEMA 2023 showcased this Liberty Walk Nissan Z on Motegi Forged Wheels, wrapped in Falken Azenis RT660 Tires, backed by a Wilwood Big Brake Kit. Under the hood, there's a Nismo Engine Cover and Cold Air Intake, with Prazi Air Suspension keeping things smooth. Topping it off, a Nismo Front Strut Tower and Morimoto LED Bulbs for that extra flair. Watch the rest of the videos to see how this build came to life at the 2023 SEMA Show.
