Oceanside, CA (June 20, 2023) – MagnaFlow is taking all of the features and flexibility that its premier xMOD Series is known for and bringing them to Honda’s top-of-the-range high-performance Civic of 2023, the Type R. Racing bred V-band clamps with male/female keyed flanges allow drivers to easily switch out the two included xMOD modules: a 14” straight-through muffler module and a straight-pipe-like xTreme Delete module. Both configurations bring out a completely different personality from the Type R’s turbocharged 2.0L. Bring out the xTreme Delete module for the track and then switch to the muffler module for the drive home. Each configuration produces identical power gains over the stock system. The exhaust kit features a direct-fit design for hassle-free installation and even includes an integrated cast 304 stainless steel valve that retains the Type R’s controllable exhaust valve feature for an additional degree of sound control.
