got the MAGNAFLOW system for my formula at SUMMIT RACING they had the lowest price and free shipping!!! 1-800-230-3030. when i opened the box i could tell i made the right choice, all shine and bright looking parts wow was it looking sweet . i put it on at home in my garage in about an hour. started it up and the old bird sounded like a ticked off t-rex with that deep rumble, the guy next door came over i thought he'd be upset from the revving but he said "man that sounds sweet!" so we took it down the road and found more power which made me really happy. the LT1 loves the extra air it flows and some say you get better gas mileage but i haven't seen any yet but then again i like to hear it roar. other than making me buy new tires for the back from the bbq they have been getting ,i love it !

After spending many many hours on the internet gathering information and listening to sound clips, I decided to go with the magnaflow catback (magnapacks). After getting it installed and punching it down the street for the first time, I was grinning like a damn fool. Simply amazing. Easily, the best sound exhaust I have ever heard on a mustang. My stereo is officially obsolete. The sound of my car is all the music I need now. And in addition, there was also a noticeable boost in performance. It has a little more kick than it did before. Not overwhelming but noticeable. Normally, I dont bother writing reviews for anything I buy but I was so impressed by this product, I just felt that I have to put the word out there. This product is A+++. I couldnt of found anything better

2006 Mustang GT

Ordered the Axel Back Mufflers 15882 Online. Upon opening the box, both mufflers were well packed and sealed in plastic. Installation - 1hour 30 min. ( the 30 min. was spent staring at those 747 exhaust tips ). Both went in easy, and each lined up perfectly the large exhaust tips fit perfectly with a good � clearance, a perfect fit. The MagnaFlow hangers were in perfect spec to the factory ones. The best part was when I turned the key, The sound I heard was incredible! Mind you this is not a throw back to those hush thrush mufflers like I had on my goat in the 70�s This sound was so well tuned, much deeper and throatier then my stock OEM mufflers, and when you punch it the sound is music to your ears, not loud or obnoxious, but you know its there, the kind of resonance that makes your neighbors windows rattle even at idle. It really stands out. All I can say is �GREAT JOB MAGNAFLOW�. I�ve placed your decal on the back deck lid of my Stang. I rate this product �Mustang Worthy� !

2005 V6 Mustang Convertible

If I said absolutely nothing but the word Magnaflow, nothing else would need to be said. Shortly after buying this pony, I traded a 2000 Mustang nicely modified GT, I knew that for as good as the 2005's are, quality-wise, it needed something, so I did two things that made a big difference. The first, was adding the 16605 split-exhaust cat-back system, and the second was adding the cold air kit from Steeda, that uses the SCT module. This pony is close to the sound of my previous 2000 GT, and I had some good stuff on that pony. Those who know exhaust systems, know Magnaflow, and one need go no further. The quality and sound have absolutely no comparisons, period!!! I'm very partial to Mustang, but just as partial to Magnaflow. MAGNAFLOW - NO COMPARISON - WHOA!!!!!!!!!!

I just finished installing magnaflow cat-back on my bird. WOW, great sound, no drone inside the car. I have heard all products corsa, flowmaster, borla etc.... This catback is the best bang for your buck... Trust me. My hats off to your engineers at magnaflow for the easy fit. I went with the magnaflow cat-back because I am always watching Overhaulin on television. Great advertising tool guys. I only have one negative and that is the U clamps that come with the system... Thank heavens for welding... The clamps are just not strong enough. I bought some really heavy duty clamps at pep-boys that where much better. They were not as shiny, but alot stronger. Kept them nice and tight until I had them welded into place. I truly would recommend the magnaflow systems over any of the competition. Thanks, Truly satisfied customer

1986 Olds Cutlass SUpreme

I was looking for a good exhaust setup to replace the stocker stuff and have been doing a LOT of research. I needed an exhaust system that was going to let my 455ci V8 breathe right. I have tried 3 diff. types of mufflers on my car and I chose to keep the Magnaflow 4x9x14" off/off mufflers. I swapped between Flow......r Deltaflw 40 series and they droned too much. Then tried Hooker Aerochamber. They were a nice muffler, sounded like a cross between the 40's and the Magnaflow, the build quality wasn't all that good tho. Looked cheap and generic. Put on the Magnaflows and have been happier ever since. When you have a 455ci V8 pumping out 425hp, you tend to NOT want the cops to follow you around. I am sold on Magnaflow products. I will be installing them on all future vehicles. Thanx Magnaflow for making such a superior product!!

2000 Mustang GT

I just bought a new 2000 Mustang GT and the first Mod. I wanted to make was new mufflers. I wanted that deep, mellow sound with little drone. I've had F.........s on my previous Mustang and the drone was really annoying, especially on long trips. After days of research I finally decided to go with another brand, but soon found out that the price was absolutely outrageous. The gentleman at the muffler shop recommended Magnaflow. He said the quality and sound were unsurpassed compared to the other brand I was interested in. Being a little nervous, I took his advice and had him install the Magnaflows. When I turned the key for the first time I was blown away. It was the EXACT sound I had been looking for! Deep, Mellow and Intimidating all at the same time. When cruising it's quiet enough to enjoy the radio with very little or no drone. Thank you for a great quality and awesome sounding muffler! And it has a lifetime warranty, WOW!

I have a '91 Ford Mustang 5.0 LX that is for the most part stock. I just had a custom cat-back system installed with Magnaflow mufflers. I was looking at F........r and D.....x systems and talked to different muffler and performance shops for three days before making a final decision. Everyone has a different opinion. I have to say, the decision wasn't easy. I wasn't familiar with the Magnaflow sound and I'm sure other people in the hunt for the "best" mufflers for their car understand what I was feeling. I shopped around the Medford, Oregon area for a replacement muffler and tailpipe set-up for my Pontiac. Most shops wanted to replace my system from the CAT back with stock pipes and parts for a very costly repair. My muffler had been replaced years ago with a no name undersized replacement muffler that left the main exhaust pipe into the muffler in need of repair. I wanted the new system to have the original if not better flow and rumble that Pontiac had designed for the car. I own G&M Express muffler in Holland Michigan .I had just recently had a 63 corvette at my shop (very sweet), corvette. The customer had made a request that he wanted stainless, and that he wanted a good sound, but not loud. I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your cat back system that I bought for my 2000 Camaro Z28 SS. First off I looked all over for a system for my camaro. I looked at all the big names C...a, B...a, F........r, H....r, B.B T.....w to name a few. These systems were either overpriced or cheaply made. I had given up on putting a system on my car. When I came across your web site I was thrilled. Here was something that looked great on the screen, was a fair price, and when I found a sound file it sounded great as well. I called my local speed shop and they had what I needed in two days. When it came time for the install, it was a snap. I was able to do it myself and to take the old one out and put the new in it took no more than one hour and I had the car on ramps. When I started the car for the first time and heard the way the system sounded I was blown away. 2002 Mustang GT Convertible

I wanted to express how pleased I am with your product. I first installed F....r 40 series on my car. Too loud and aweful drone. I then went to their 50 series. Not as loud... same drone. Frustrated I was reccomended to go with another leading brand. Good sound... same drone. After consulting with the Mustangs Forums and listening and reading as much as I could I looked into Magnaflow. I spoke with your technical department and they were very very helpful. We installed 18" mufflers opposed to the typical 14" models for Mustang. JUST AS HE SAID, the sound is perfect and powerful and yet the drone is gone. In fact when you hit 2000 RPM (the drone point for most all mustang 4.6 motors) you think it will come and instead it smoothes to a nice deep sound. Quiet at idle, perfect on the highway and nasty when it needs to be. Good job! Your product is exactly as advertized and that in itself is also "music to my ears". All the best! Ok, first of this is the first exhaust I have ever bought for my car, and I didn't know much about anything that was out there. So, I drove down to my local shop, and I was thinking f________r. But then I saw the racing series, looked straight through the muffler. Then thought...hmm...I can't see through the f________r, but I could see threw yours. I was sold. Put in a single 3in pipe with one muff. My car sounds like a thunderstorm, and the preformance gain was MASSIVE. With stock headers too! I put in all kinds of stuff, from manifold to carb to whatever. But this gave me that extra kick off the line I needed. I made an eclipse spyder look like a public bus. Now if I can just stay under 80, everything will be perfect. I am recomending them to everyone, awesome product, the BEST OF THE BEST out there. (no I didn't get payed for this)

1997 Ford Mustang Cobra

About two months ago I purchased and installed your catback muffler system for my 97 Cobra. The car was pretty quick with the stock exhaust, but nothing overly impressive. It especially seemed to lack low end torque. After I had the Magnaflow system installed it immediately sounded better. Not too loud, but impressive when "revved- up". The thing that has really got my attention is the obvious low end torque gains. I can no longer stand on the gas from a stop as the car will break loose and go sideways on me....all the way thru 2nd gear. The only other modification so far is a K&N filter and that was on there prior to the Magnaflow kit. I did a lot of research as to which manufacturer to go with. I found independent studies and dyno tests on the web. Each one seemed to point to Magnaflow for overall performance gains. I will never put Flowmasters on one of my cars again! I am even considering putting Magnaflow mufflers on my Grand Prix GT company car at my own expense. Thanks for your

2004 Ford Mustang GT

I wanted to let you know how pleased I am with your product. After researching cat back systems available and finally taking my son's advice, I ordered a Flowmaster Force II system. When I received it I had an awful time trying to make it fit. I finally gave up and called Flowmaster who wanted to blame manufacturing tolerances of my car. How arrogant! I then called the vendor who sold me the kit. To their credit, after 2 days of trying to contact their Flowmaster representative, suggested returning the system and recommended replacing it with the Magnaflow cat back system. The salesman used the term "awesome" to describe it. I agreed and installed it without problem within 30 minutes of receipt. The fit is great, the quality is awesome and the sound is incredible. I wish I had saved myself a whole lot of time and ordered the Magnaflow in the first place.

Originally I took the bait and bought a F--------r for a custom setup. Thankfully before I could have it installed guys in my car club and a certain online parts store informed me that muffler does NOT flow well on turbo charged engines. Most of the guys recommended your product and since they have the same car I figured that was the way to go. I bought a universal with 3" inlet and dual 2.50" outlets from Complete Exhaust.com. Had it all installed at my local shop, they also sell your products too. Now I expected the ground to tremble when I started my car up but that was NOT the result. Frankly it sounds almost like the cars stock exhaust minus the muffler. It does give a little rumble when I stand on it but other than that it's mild sounding. Overall it's not at all what I was expecting but I am pleased with it and would purchase your product again.
