Mustangs at the Queen Mary
A warm, clear day in Long Beach at the Queen Mary was the perfect setting to host 300+ Mustangs this past Sunday, September 20, 2009. We were given good placement to the side of the main stage, with ample space to showcase the MagnaFlow 2010 Mustang. We are very grateful that our continued participation was hugely appreciated by both event coordinators and event attendees for the constant support of the Mustang community.
Sponsor announcements were made on stage hourly broadcasting the MagnaFlow Sweepstakes. The MagnaFlow 2010 Mustang was the main attraction with people recognizing it from the RTM Muscle Car TV build on Spike. With only 4 weeks left until the contest ends, many “potential future winners/owners” were counting the days before they could claim their prize.
MagnaFlow banners were placed at the main entrance and throughout the event grounds. This was our first opportunity to use our new banner design, which shows very well. Our larger-scale banners definitely offer great visibility.
After a delayed flight, Spike TV’s Courtney Hansen (and long time Overhaulin’ spokesperson) arrived. She stopped by and posed for a few pics. Courtney was also kind enough to just hang out at the MagnaFlow booth for a while, signing anything from memorabilia to t-shirts to cars. Overhaulin’ and Power Block Fans were everywhere.
The event was packed. The stage was busy all day with giveaways and auctions. The MagnaFlow exhaust system was auctioned off, with the highest bidder offering $850. This money was donated back to the club hosting the event.
