On May 18, 2000 Car Sound Exhaust System Inc., the parent company of MagnaFlow Performance Exhaust was ISO 9001 approved.
What is ISO-9001?
ISO-9001 is an international standard created by the International Organization for Standardization to define the minimum requirements of an acceptable quality management system. It has 20 specific design, material, and process requirements that help to ensure customer satisfaction with our products and services.
Why Should MagnaFlow Use the ISO-9001 Standard?
ISO-9001 has been widely accepted throughout Europe and Asia and is becoming increasingly important in the U.S. Many of our customers are now asking us to use ISO-9001 policies and procedures because they know from their own experience that it helps proved better control of all aspects of the business which minimizes, corrects and prevents problems. What does it take to get an ISO-9001 Approval?
A company becomes ISO-9001 approved when it has successfully passed an inspection by an independent auditor. The initiation process takes approximately one to two years to fully implement the organization standard. This culminates in a week-long intensive audit of every aspect of the manufacturing process.
