From a functional standpoint there really is no difference between this option and the previous one, other than perhaps a reduced possiblity of soot accumulation on the lower rear valence panel. This final option is primarily aimed at aesthetics since you get to actually see the polished exhaust tips more clearly. The choice is yours.
We've included the dyno test res-ults in a sidebar. It should be noted that the vehicle used for this install-ation was a somewhat unusual app-lication: a '65 fastback with a 5.0L and a T5 tranny. It also has a fuel cell to further complicate matters.

Suffice it to say that the installation of this kit in a more standard vehicle will involve significantly less modification than was needed with this vehicle. As easy as it was to put in on this modified vehicle (it was done in about a half a day, including the special fabrication needed due to the modifications, plus a total of six before and after dyno runs), it will be much simpler for most installations; a few hours ought to do it if you have all the tools you need when you start. MagnaFlow certainly gives you everything you'll need in terms of hardware, so you won't find yourself looking for any clamps or other bits
