Place the vinyl-cap plug on the intake tube and secure it. At this time, double check that everything is mounted properly.
Jason then bolted up the MagnaFlow tube to the catalytic converter.
Check out the K&N FIPK installed. On stock applications, expect to see an increase of around 18 horsepower. Before you go drive off, fire up the motor and check for any air leaks.
Whoa...turbo! Before you head out, make sure to mount the C.A.R.B. exemption sticker in a visible area so the smog Nazi can get a good look.
Project BAMF was teken to J-Sins B&M Muffler in Corona, CA to get the MagnaFlow cat-back installed.
Here's a look at the MagnaFlow cat-back system in all its glory.
Jason Garret at J-Sins began by applying a ring of silicone to the MagnaFlow S-shaped stainless steel exhaust tubing that adapts to the catalytic converter.
The center section of the MagnaFlow exhaust was run alongside the driveshaft tunnel and held up with stands. Don't fasten anything down before test fitting the system.
Because the exhaust is a rear exit, the plumbing is run over the top of the axle.
The MagnaFlow 5x8x18-inch muffler was set in to position.
