testing and prototyping. Once the prototype systems are fabricated and fitted, the vehicles are subjected to extensive testing in order to achieve exactly the right combination of performance and sound before the exhaust is deemed good enough to carry the MagnaFlow name. From research and development the specifications and test results are forged into reality at MagnaFlow's state of the art manufacturing facility. A combination of old world craftsmanship and modern robotic manufacturing technology yields an exhaust system that's ready for serious performance right out of the box. MagnaFlow has people, facility and engineering know-how to take the guesswork out of choosing the right system no matter what the vehicle you're driving.

Built Tough
MagnaFlow exhaust systems utilize mandrel bent tubing for smooth no-restriction flow. To help keep the exhaust flowing smooth and straight from engine to exhaust tip, every MagnaFlow muffler features a straight thruough design with no louvers, baffles, ro anything else to get in the way of exiting exhaust. Since laminar, or smooth straight flow is the answer to getting the most efficient flow rate out of any size diameter tube, simplicity in exhaust construction is

therefore the anwser. Inside every MagnaFlow muffler is a perforated tube that helps channel the exhaust away from the turbo or engine and allows the harsh tones to be absorbed first by a tightly wound layer of stainless steel and then dealt another sonic blow by a layer of high temperature acoustic material. The stainless steel wrap helps to quickly stabilize exhaust temperature for ideal flow from the get go, and adds a layer of blowout protection for the surrounding acoustic material for long muffler life. All this is capped off with 1/2" overlapped fully mig-welded seams. The lap weld holds up better than a rolled weld becuase double the steel means double the strength. The end result of the construction is high flow and the exhaust notes you want to hear minus the ones you don't. No matter if the engine is a four, six, eight, ten, twelve or even rotary - ultimate flow and sweet sound are what MagnaFlow is all about.

Power Up Your New 2005 Mustang GT
MagnaFlow has developed a new line of bolt-on stainless steel exhaust products designed to enhance the power, sound and looks of the new 2005 Mustang GT, with several choices available. Replace just the mufflers with an axle-back systems, opt for one of two complete cat-back exhaust systems (standard or the more aggressive MagnaPack sound), or go full bore with a complete cat-back and Tru-X crossover pipe comb-ination that spans the length of the vehicle from the engine manifold outlet to the tips. Both of Magna-Flow's true dual stainless steel cat-back systems for the Mustang feature dual polished mufflers, mandrel bent 2.5" tubing, and dual 4" slash cut double wall tips. Either can be instal-led along for a strong power booth or pair the MagnaFlow cat-back of your choice with one of MagnaFlow's Tru-X crossover pipes for an optimal incr-ease in horsepower and torque. On the dyno, the cat-back and Tru-X (with high flow catalytic converters) combination nets a minimum increase of 19hp and 17 lb. ft. of torque. All are manufactured in the USA to ISO-9001 quality standards and include a lifetime warranty.
