Jerry and Mario Paolone took a garage-based catalytic converter refurbishing business and built it into a worldwide Southern California based aftermarket and performance exhaust empire. Today Car Sound is one of the largest manufacturers of aftermarket catalytic converters in the US, and is building a rapidly strengthening presence in the perf-ormance exhaust market. Car Sound spun off MagnaFlow as a performance division, and as a vehicle for comp-any president Jerry Paolone to give his employees more exciting products to engineer and manu-facture. MagnaFlow has grown to manufacture everything from comp-lete bolt-in cat-back exhaust systems to custom chrome exhaust tips. From light hi-revving lightweight rotary screamers to turbo-diesel heavy hauler trucks, MagnaFlow has a performance exhaust solution. Jerry Paolone invests in his passion for performance excitement through a philosophy of infusing company capital back into research and deve-lopment along with procuring the latest in manufacturing equipment. Jerry has also found a business ally and friend in another fellow famous Italian American gear head. |

Italian Hot Rodders
Jerry Paolone and Mario Andretti began their relationship as profess-ionals and have built it into a lasting friendship. Mario Andretti didn't get started rebuilding catalytic conv-erters in a garage, but he did hone his formidable driving skills in the fifties behind the wheel of a 1948 Hudson Hornet on the dirt tracks of Penn-sylvania. Jerry and Mario share the common bond of having come here to the United States from their native Italy, and having shared their love of driving performance with their brothers. While Mario Paolone and Aldo Andretti are sadly no longer with us, their passion lives on. Precious few products are deemed worthy enough to carry the endorsement of one of the greatest Grand Prix and Indy Car drivers on the planet, and MagnaFlow is proud to be one of them. Fewer products still posses enough genuine performance to get bolted up to the race vehicles of son Michael Andretti and grandson Marco. Jerry, Mario and MagnaFlow have also found a friend in the Hot Rod world with Boyd Codding-ton. Boyd's extremely exacting standards can be witnessed in his creations, or seen play out weekly on the Discovery Channel |
