Don McGee, Product Development Manager, introduced us to the MagnaFlow Performance Exhaust Division and showed us their new MagnaFlow Performance giant 4" diameter, mandrel-bent, straight-through, wide-open system engineered for the International Power Stroke.
We had a couple of our own unique concerns. In adapting the single 41" -Michelin XZL tires to the dually rear axle, we had modified the tailpipe to exit forward of the rear wheel. Later, as the new Tortuga Expedition Camper took shape, it left the exhaust coming out right underneath the door. Don suggested we bring The Turtle V to their new 20,000 square foot Dyno & Tech Center in Rancho Santa Margarita for the custom fit we needed. That also gave us the opportunity to see why the MagnaFlow Performance Exhaust is superior.
