3. The new MagnaFlow piping was slid onto the catalytic converter and hung from the stock hanger.
4. The muffler would be slid into the piping next. First, though, we had to lube the rubber exhaust mounts with silicone.
5. The muffler was then slid onto the rubber mount.
6. Next, the muffler and piping was clamped in place and torqued down.
7. Here is what the inside of a MagnaFlow muffler looks like. The perforated piping gives the system a nice, throaty sound and doesn't restrict the exhaust flow.
8. After lubing the remaining rubber mounts, the exit pipe was routed over the axle and slid onto the muffler.
9. Once in place, the pipe was slid into the rubber mount.
10. To complete the installation, a clamp was installed on the pipe, and the joint was torqued tight.
