ABD's aluminum dead pedal, floor mats, and doorsills were all intended for the Jetta, while the second set of doorsills were lifted from a Passat; Modern Image provided the vinyl magic; ABD Racing was called upon for their carbon-fiber VR6 engine cover; Wet Works Garage subtle roof wing adds to the classy styling of Budget Bora.

November chronicled the modification of the interior. Our biggest expenditure was on something that you don't see or touch when driving. MTX Audio's Thunderform enclosure for the Jetta IV provided much needed bass to our otherwise flawless factory Monsoon system with 6-disc CD changer. The Thunderform's design is ingenious with an integrated and matched amplifier and subwoofer. The amount of trunk space taken up is minimal (and Functionally none), but the amount of bass is amazing. The interior was also upgraded with Landspeed USA's aluminum console kit and ABD's aluminum dead pedal and stainless steel doorsills. Our grand total was increased by $929.85 to $5,600.23.
That brings us to the December issue. We decided to finish our buildup so that we could bring you this feature in our January 2002 issue. We figured we'd kick off the year big, so we had to squeeze the rest of the parts that we installed into December. The parts we installed on the car last issue were plentiful and powerful in terms of how they finished up or show car/daily driver.
