Chris Forsberg began to pursue an interest in drifting with friend Tony Angelo in 1999, a sport they had discovered through Japanese internet videos. As Chris' knowledge of cars and drifting progressed, he began drifting on the back roads of Pennsylvania more frequently until it became a daily obsession.
With the desire to help the drift scene grow, Chris, along with close friends, began the first sanctioned drift events on the east coast. At these events they helped promote the sport through demos, videos and grassroots marketing. |

Tony Angelo, in the beginning had a vision of the growth of drifting in the US. After witnessing the rapid growth of drifting and the national attention the tight-knit group began to receive, it was necessary to make sure it moved in the right direction. So, a team was formed that would represent the sport's roots as well as take drifting to a new level.
Drift Alliance was formed by these dedicated drivers and renaissance men. Drift Alliance has since been kicking ass and going nuts on and off the track! |

Vaughn Gittin (JR), is a self taught and talented driver from Maryland. Vaughn started out at the age of 13 riding dirt bikes and raced in amateur motocross for 4 years. Most of his driving training was done on street & industrial parks.
Vaughn shares the same roots and rock & roll lifestyle as Chris Forsberg and Tony Angelo. Gittin has been recognized for his full throttle smokescreen drifts and taking home the first place spot at the D1GP this year. Being the first American driver and American built car to win this event ever! |

Ryan Hampton started out racing every car known to man. Competing in events such as IRL, ALMS, Grand-Am, IMSA, FIA, SCCA Pro, and USAC. Ryan has been drifting for well over 4 years and can drift any rear wheel drive car with great easy and control that is hard to match.
Ryan shared the same outlook on the sport of drifting as Tony, Chris and Vaughn. Ryan also possessed an amazing car control skill, while remaining completely out of control off the track. |
